Hi. I'm Alicia, a classical pianist, teacher, mentor, collaborator and advocate of mental health, based in London.
The power of music never ceases to amaze me. I had a difficult childhood growing up, partly due to my mother’s sudden death when I was eight years old. Music, and playing the piano, was a way I channelled my emotions, an outlet for my pain. I’ve experienced first hand how music has a profound and curative power to help heal us, nurture us, lift us up and bring us together. And it is this belief that inspires everything I do as a person and musician, intuitively guiding my performing, collaborating, teaching, mentoring, writing and anything else that comes my way! My artistic purpose centres around helping others through music, whilst learning about myself on my own journey. My fascination for psychology and mental health, alongside my own personal struggles, drives me to raise awareness of mental health issues and break the stigma through the medium of music and The Arts.
